I'm going over on Tuesday to get a spot hopefully.

This seems much quicker. I'm no longer sitting here tutting at the screen :-D.
:thankyou:

Oh come on, if Mark can make the effort, with his mammoth journey ;-), I'm sure you can. :naughty:

This is interesting Mark.
when I spoke to the driver this morning he was saying that he would have to take of the front prop (which is off anyway) so this is leading me to believe that he has lifted the front up. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
The recovery operator is being lazy and can't be bothered to remove the propshaft so lifts the vehicle rear wheels of the ground.
Sounds like he's looked underneath and seen the prop is already gone saving him the job of removing it, so chose to do a rear lift.
Do jimmys have left hand threaded wheel nuts on the left side? If so is it possible that towing it in reverse has loosened them off, losing the wheel. :dunno:
Just a wild guess but possible :dunno:

That's a shame . Are you going, I was going to bring that Tiny Tim along.

You lucky lucky buggers. I got over excited just climbing on it and looking at his photo album a couple of years ago. Might get another look in a couple of weeks.

Looks like that whole section will be closed off. Even less room for camping. Lets hope they're going to use the fiels over by the exit road.
Found this on the hop farm web site
Treejumpers Adventure Centres are opening an aerial sky park at the Hop Farm, the launch will take place during the war and peace show July 18th – 22nd 2007.
Not too temporary looking to me. :-(
-
the Hop Farm are building a large adventure playground in one of the fields used for the War and Peace show.
I was at the hop farm today and had a nose around. Bang goes your camping spot Mark. :argh:

No more signs of anything being built yet. Everywhere was like a swamp though.

look for a large green tent.
   Should be able to spot that easy enough.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself :-D

Found this through the above info page.

Here's some info I found.

There's a smart looking airportable 353 on milweb. £3750. If only I had somewhere to put it.
-
I'm hoping to make the trip.

I could only make the Saturday but it was an enjoyable event in a decent setting. Nice and sunny for the convoy, which was great and the welcome free tea, coffee, sausage rolls and bread pudding from the Naafi wagon on the return to the farm was just in time for a downpour. Had a good chat with Mark and luckily we had a broken down Stolly and a large brolly for shelter. I think this will be a weekend do for me next year.
Good to meet you Mark, did you get forced into the rounders match or did you make it to the beer tent?
-
That's a K38 Linesman trailer. Some info here. Scroll down the page a bit.
-
Parcel arrived this morning.
