I take a couple of solar showers. I got a cheap utility/loo tent for using them in. It's not really tall enough but after a day of dust it's great to have a shower. Those solar jobs can get real hot. You could make a shower cubicle easy enough. Just a few poles and a tarp.
If you're posh though, have one of these

I paid a quick visit on Sunday. Got some pictures which seem to be the same as everyone elses. Here's a few to look at.
Had a look around the bunker which was worth a visit and would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the shouty kid in there :argh:
Didn't spot any HMVF shirts. Next time maybe.

I don't think I've seen one like that before. The only dutch trailer I know of is the polynorm which has horizontal reinforcing indentations. I've been searching on G503 but couldn't find any like yours. Might be worth asking over there.

That's that sorted then, I think I'll have a drive up there tomorrow, with camera.
-
Good idea, especially with the amount of kit you have.
There's a fella near me with the same markings.
-
Did you sort the payment out Jack?
-
No problem Jack. Mail sent regarding payment.
-
Just placed an order. Tried to pay with credit card. Filled in all the info but kept saying transaction key blank? :dunno:
Paypal payment made instead.

I didn't realise you had a beard :naughty:

You storing nuts for the winter? :naughty:

I would have posted the pics here but don't know how to.

Now that's a camper.

I'll join in. I'll have to take an alarm clock, not used to getting up at that ungodly hour :-o
-
Not for me :dunno:
Edit: it's just got quick......ish
-
I looked in earlier on and was pleased that it seemed back up to speed.
Now its real sloooooooooow again. :dunno:

:pfrt: Takes a man to go round a wet corner with bar grips.
-
Looking great. Glad the gay seat's gone. :-D It'll look even better when you get those bar grips on.
If only I had somewhere to put it that's the truck I'd have.
-
Standard Jeep tyres are 6.00 x 16. You can get a larger 7.50 x 16. I don't know what benefit the larger ones have, maybe better off road. :dunno:
I've not heard the smaller war time argument.

Slow and laggy for me too.

Would a conversion to 12v be a better option & what does this entail?
( i believe I'd need a new starter motor, New alternator, New HT cables & plugs & new light bulbs) anything else?
any ideas would be gratefully accepted
You'd also need a new distributor and coil.
-
Is the gallery going to make a return? Or perhaps it's here somewhere and I can't see it.
-
Congrats  You can now be one of us big rough truck drivers :cheesy:
I'm neither big nor rough but I do hold the licence so there

I got that film in 05. It was made on a very small budget and it shows in a couple of scenes. Not a bad film but the english accent is a bit of a teeth curler. Watchable though.

Hi Paul - tell me about it - I flew 88 hours - could have brought a Sherman for that!!!
Wish I had!!!
That's a whole heap of cash. :schocked: Hope you passed :-D
Nice looking truck.

The bogs have improved over the last couple of years. Although I'ts not the bogs themselves but the filthy gits that use them and feel it necesary to smear crap everywhere and destroy the things. :argh:
