The Stuart belongs to Paul Sheperdson. My M151A2 was parked just round the corner. I've been doing the Newark poppy appeal since around 2007 and we've never had a Sherman!

I've removed the owners details... perhaps contacting the MoD would be a good start?

Hi Adrian,
Welcome to the forum. Have you seen this website?

I think I have some no 40 scopes at home too, I'll have a look.

CVRT Spartan commanders cupola. Not worth that much really, nobody needs one!
-
cheers guys
will look at options and costs , esiest so far is just transfer a number plate and chassis plates from a breaker vehicle
That doesn't sound legal, and could be a whole lot more trouble than it's worth. Do yourself a favour and do it the right way, it is really not hard!

You need 3 things to register them..
- some dating evidence, so mod forms or verification letter from MVT etc
- an MOT done on the chassis number
- valid insurance done on the chassis number.
If you haven't got these then you can't get them road legal.
Plenty of threads on here on this subject.

The modification instruction has a drawing for the plate used to drill the holes. It bolts to the suspension arm mounting points. You need to helicoil the holes etc.

Top one is a Spartan with a sabre/fox/scimitar turret added. Looks a bit top heavy to me.
It's a new build hull with a Scimitar turret on it. The turret looked much better on the hull it was on originally though!

The wheels are date stamped, look for a small circle with 2 numbers stamped into it like 78 or 05. That's the year of manufacture.

It's true that the worst looking and most battered wheels seem to last forever, but the nicest ones with the moulding seams seem to last just minutes out on the road! I fitted a new set of wheels, 2005 dated, when I restored my Sabre in 2008 and I've not lost one yet, touch wood, so I think the trick is finding the newest ones possible. Also try to match the circumference when fitting used ones in pairs.

There is a re-rubbering project ongoing, more details when the tooling is made.

CB2 is a crew box for 2 radios. IB2 is an interconnecting box for 2 radios. There is an IB3 but it is rarely used.
-
This is all you need, with a power cable, for a very basic intercom system...

Look on eBay, a seller called PTS Norfolk have a lot of good bits.

Very nice, but where is the Wolf spare wheel mount going? The rest of the vehicle looks too good to have non standard items like that fitted!

It's for the ferret drivers night sight.
