Looks great........You were pretty young when you got yours....Enjoy.....
I was 18 when I got mine, had it 12 years in April!

Tim,
Minimum pressure required to pass a test was 130psi. The engine that went with the Sabre project I sold had 160/170psi on all cylinders. Sounds like yours is a bit sick.

I last saw most of the Tavern chassis in a scrap yard near nottingham, I cant remember the name of it but they where building a new road past it about 2-3 years ago if that helps.
That would be Allsops when they were building the A46 dual carriageway. They will be long gone now.

That engine would look nice in my Wolf! Looks very straight, where did it come from?

I hope there might actually be some vehicle parts to buy this year, I've been finding less to buy each year for a while now.

Remember the wheels need to be covered for it to be road legal, and you'd need the lights etc too. Anyone wanting to do this could have the lights fitted with quick release plugs, and you can get thumb nuts which release after half a turn which could be used to quickly fit and remove the wings at a show etc.

Black for me too.

They have lots of uses, the ones I had were in the CES for my comms trailer.

Kev,
It's a rubber bag tank located at the rear of the hull between the idler wheels. The filler is usually hidden by the rear turret bin.

We still have the MW and it will be in Normandy in 2014, a bit more finished than it was last time. I just bought myself a present, a fairly clean Land Rover 110
Have a good Christmas everyone!

Bob,
Not too far, how urgent do you need the dimensions? We could arrange for you to come up and measure at some point if it helps.

Bob,
Where are you? There's a deactivated one in our Fox.

Interesting to see the Withams sticker and lot number on the front.

It would be worth sending an email, he was helpful when I talked to him.

Might be a long shot, but I bought most of the electrical bits including connectors for my M151 from here: http://www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/

Hi Dave,
It might help to know what it is and where you are!

The backdrop to my recent purchase of a comms body for the RB44 showed a few CVRT's.
Yes there are some at Withams which will be better than these 2!

What a mess! Look like they've been there a long time.

I'm sure I have one of those somewhere and it was off a petrol Sultan.

We have an operational Fox, there are around 50 or so left and most are runners.
