Round the back, in an annoying place!
It's got the same kind of screw in fitting as the ones on the dashboard.

We just swapped all our insurance to cherished vehicle, saved quite a bit too.

The correct flasher unit was used on military Land Rovers so you should be able to get one from somewhere like LR Series or John Craddock.

I will see what I can find. At my parents house I have the Clansman into Spartan manual and it's a good 200+ pages of diagrams.

TUAAM goes on the roof near the antenna bases just inside the back door. ARFAT goes on the triangular radio tray.

PM me your email address and I'll send you some stuff..

I would say if you are afraid of the neighbours taking shots at you, it might be worth moving first? Also fuel consumption shouldn't really be an issue with a tracked armoured vehicle, just keep pouring it in and don't look at the price! It is going to be poor on any of them.

We have had 8 CVRTs over the years and currently run 2 diesels and one petrol. I'd go for the CVRT every time. They are easy to work on, mostly reliable and spares can be found fairly easily. I like the diesel, it has more grunt and you have less worries about ignition systems or overworking the engine. We have a large group of cvrt users here for help and advice.
If you buy the French vehicle where are you going to get parts and who will help you out when you need advice?

On the ground. I don't know enough about them to know which one or why you'd need it, but that's what it's for !

John,
That is for a coax cable to connect it to a mast.

Lots of NOS ferret internal bins are green.

Sounds like my Sabre gearbox, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi Rick,
They do tend to make a buzzing noise at idle caused by a pressure relief valve. If you had a video of the noise we could let you know if it is normal or not!

Have you cleaned out the relief valve that exits the hull on the opposite side to the exhaust? These are often blocked.

The ignition modules do go wrong so if you do what Tim says and still have no luck it's worth changing the module or the distributor and seeing if that solves it.

You can get ISO 10 very easily, look on eBay for T10 hydraulic fluid.

I have one of these, I think 1954 dated, in the garage somewhere. I can bring it to W&P if anyone wants to make an offer for it.

Mike it's not changed, it's been like that since they started!

You should get a phone call and/or email to tell you you've won. If you hear nothing you were unsuccessful.

Colin,
I suggest you visit the War & Peace Revival if you enjoyed tankfest. There are usually around 4000 military vehicles at that show.

Running stationary and running under load are very different.

I've got one. If you are seriously interested you need to arrange to go and view the remaining stock and see what prices they quote.
