  4. Will this do ? Dodge weapons carrier in Blackpool Tower Circus ring.....(was used in the opening of an Eaton fork lift truck convention ) they used a forklift under the rear of the Dodge to get it round the corner into the entrance ......:coffee:

  7. 27 years to grow into what it is today , yet all this about its toilets!......Dread to think what they were like when they started then....agree what you say about setting a rally up safariswing (my mum and dad used to organise the military vehicles at blackpool airshows in the eighties , i believe it stopped due to the main organisers being both killed in plane crash)

  12. yep we placed it behind the old grill, it looked really good .. the label on the old grill is what remains of its army label R.A.O.C. if i remember rightly ...

  14. i believe we had a trip down the runway in the lancaster ( but i was only 5 , dont remember much of it )

  17. And other bargains!!!!(mind you the auction was in 1972!!:n00b:). Found the sale catalogue from this auction (i was 5) we went to the auction and luckily noted down some of the prices . Read them and weep! , personally i like the sound of the half track at £265......(shame there were no pics):coffee:
  18. Love your old sign, found these interesting ones today. The forces canteen one , came out of Talbot Road bus station Blackpool .
  19. Popped round for a brew this afternoon, dads mocking up the outer of the grill, one of the early land rover grilles we have found in the garage will be used as the mesh behind the inner grill when its ready .....:coffee:

  21. When i removed the original underseal from our M416 trailer i used paint stripper (nitromors etc) it worked great , but was messy ........
