Here's a few pictures of the first day of the Shildon Wartime Weekend. I had the Jeep, B-17, P-47 and Vengeance on display, though the jeep almost didn't make it when the rear prop shaft universal joint decided to scatter it's bearings half way to the museum. After a 20 to 30 minute stop to remove the shaft, I made it the rest of the way in front wheel drive.

Firstly, here's my three aircraft.....

Just behind our display was a WW1 narrow gauge locomotive on loan to the museum for the weekend

And just opposite were two aircraft cockpit displays, a Vampire and the Canberra shown here

The vehicles and re-enactor displays were just outside the main exhibition hall.

A steam loco was providing rides along the site all day.

I'll try and get a few more vehicle pictures tomorrow. There was a mix of 1940's up to present day Army on display.
