gritineye
I believe a few of these were issued to special forces, if so what special features made them fit for purpose?
Swill1952xs
I think the thing that made them special was the running gear. The downside was the lack of four wheel drive. Most of the running gear was either Westwood or Bolens. They were actually designed for mine clearance but never actually saw service. The early ones had a three rotor mowing deck fitted. :-D
Lardrover
Wasn't the mowing deck fitted to the front for the Dandelion AP mines?
Swill1952xs
The one in the picture is fitted with the C.A.P.P.B cannon. For those of you not familiar with this type of weaponry.........its a compressed air ping pong ball model. Uses standard ammunition and has a range of about five metres. :-D
