question Wartime vehicles commando unit

Hallo all,

 

search info about vehicles army or Royal marines commando unit in second world war?

Have only few pictures, with minimum information.

one interesting pictures is here-

two Bedfords MWD and CMP C-15 4x2 with member RM 30 commando AU,

1943(?),

But I dont know what is "Q" on Bed mudguard (left side) and think this vehicles have more markings(not identify).
