abn deuce Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) found this interesting photo of dry land training of tanks and simulated LST shaped building at Fort Knox KY. the caption with the photo "This is eligible for the National Register. From the sign: The LST Building replicated every detail of the tank deck of an LST ship including replication of interior girders and rivets. Details of the upper deck of an LST ship such as the railing and pilot house were also replicated.
