Jessie The Jeep Posted May 18, 2008 Share Posted May 18, 2008 This morning, I was considering swapping my Hotchkiss Oil Pressure and Temperature gauges from my Americanised M201 to Georges French M201 Jeep, as he has MB gauges in his. When we looked at them, we discovered the designs are different. The M201 gauges are fully electrical ( three connections on each I think ), where as on the MB Oil Pressure gauge, it had an oil line into the back and the Temp gauge had a sprial bound cable/wire/pipe into the back. The connections to the engine block are also different. Does anyone do MB style gauges with the Hotchkiss 24v three terminal connections, or am I going to have to swap the gauges, lines and sensors in both Jeeps?
