109ffr Posted March 3 Share Posted March 3 (edited) Good afternoon all. I have a series 3 109 ffr Landrover, with a failed ballast resistor in the 24 to 10volt dropper box for the ignition. Having read Clive Elliott’s article on this system, I see he has a replacement as the aluminium clad wirewound 50w 5r6 resistor. I was just wondering if anyone has used this resistor as a replacement for the original, and if it is a success. Many thanks, Steven.
