John and I traded Land Rover models for a number of years with me supplying items only sold in North America or with packaging specific to this side of the pond. It still haunts me, the phone conversation I had with his partner after I didn't hear from him for a while. I asked to speak to John and she said "John has died". I always wondered what happened to him at the end. If anyone knew him or can shed any light please perhaps contact me privately. A copy of his obituary would be gratefully received.
