3HW Speedometer drive

Can someone help me I do not have a picture of what holds the gear on the shift for the speedometer drive. Circle in red.

I don’t know whether it is a roll pin or a cotter pin.

Any help or a picture would be great.

Officially you need a "drive pin"...... or roll pin. If you use a split pin, the chances are that the protruding ends will foul on something. You can use anything of the right diameter (nail/wire) if you bend the loose ends into the groove.  Ron
