Hi does anyone know of a company? or some one that does brake shoe grinding in the uk.

or has any one got a brake shoe grinder for sale.

have been looking at the Ammco 890 machine but I can only find in the USA for sale.

the shoes I need doing are 9 inch

You could try The Brakehouse Ltd they are in Perivale, London. They do all types of commercial vehicle brakes. Prices aren't bad either.

Hi just called them,the smallest brake lining diameter they can bo is 300mm /12 inch.

We have used a firm in Nutexa Frictions in  Hoylake, on the Wirral, to reline GAZ 69 brake shoes to suit drums that we had had skimmed due to excessive scoring. They were very helpful and did a good job with bonded linings. Their phone number is 0151 632 5903
