AlienFTM
"It's a stealth tank," said Alien, who got Command & Conquer The First Decade yesterday as a birthday present from his nipper and is revelling in revisiting C&C the original for the first time since Windows XP made playing the DOS version impossible. Carabinier457
Its not Javalin but along the same lines... Javalin is the name of its predecessor but also of the successor of Milan. Do you mean the Anti Tank Javalin or the Close Air Defence Javalin?... Here is the full picture...
Marmite!!
That will be the Starstreak then  & it is fitted to armour ;-) http://www.army-technology.com/projects/starstreak/images/star5.jpg[/img]
Carabinier457
Correct although the LML or Lightweight Multiple Launcher (now fitted with CIFF) is not fitted to armour. The Starstreak or HVM as it is called (Shorts S14) missile is the generic weapon but there are various launchers. Thales who bought out Shorts have experimented with launchers on Apache and Warrior as well as BV406 and Pinzgauer. I had a Troop of 12 SP Stormer (The armoured version) and am now the BK of 457 Battery in Southampton. We are an LML Battery and regularly fire them at Manobier Range near Tenby or at the Outer Hebredes
