Help with a trailer

Recommended Posts

Hello

Whilst browsing Ebay I have bought a 1930's Gibson Eccles trailer.

Now I am hoping to restore it back to original spec but I can't find much info, now I know its not strictly a Military item but we have lots on knowledgeable people on here so i thought some one would know?

It has spoked wheels all 3 are present so any idea how and where I should mount the spare?

I have the T reflector again can I legally still use this? if so in what position?

Heres a photo form two or three years before I bought it, its had a very shabby box body built on it which I have scrapped. I believe one spring pin is seized so I will have to make a new one and see if the old one will come out

I was hoping to build something like this but not with high sides, Would I get away with a ply floor or should I do it in boards?

Any thoughts on the correct lighting for it as it currently has a modern light board.

Any help would be much appreciated.
