OZITIM
Hi all, I just got off the phone to the Australian Armoured museum at Puckapunyal. I was asking if their was any means through which I could track the history of a Ferret that served with Aust Army. Apparently before they were disposed of, the log books went missing. Does anyone know a way inwhich these vehicles histories can be tracked. Do the respective associations have lists of vehicles used? Any ideas appreciated. Regards, OZITIM
Starfire
I've not been able to find any service history for mine, but I would love to have it. Ideally, I'd like to get the proper markings back on them. All I know is their British and Australian registration numbers. Cheers, Terry
OZITIM
Thats all I have too. The guy from Pucka said that they have a collection of Ferret photos in service, and I've asked him if I could have copies of those pictures. The only way we would ever know is if we were lucky enough to find a photo of a vehicle with the number on it, and that photo is referenced to a unit. I've not been able to find any service history for mine, but I would love to have it. Ideally, I'd like to get the proper markings back on them. Starfire
If you get those photos, I'd be keen to have a look.
OZITIM
I think in reality, I will need to travel down to Pucka and organise a day to do it myself. If you get those photos, I'd be keen to have a look.
