Richard Farrant
Hi all, we got the following chassisnumber Rb18f7143887 for a Wot2h , question what is the orginal wartime nilitary reg number. In worste case what will be the prefix of the number c m cm etc Prefix for Census number would be Z. As for tracing the census number from a chassis number, it would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Lauren Child
If you've got a post-war rebuild plate showing the new style registration number it's possible to find the original number by cross reference. It would be on the chassis under the passenger side door. You can also find the contract card, although mine sadly showed the warranty on the truck was only 6 months.
