The film sequence is not really any help, its about uncovering a Series E Morris 8 tourer thats been in a garage for years, the so called expert who uncovered it did not even really know what the car was, thought it was possibly ex RAF because it had been painted a blue/grey colour ..rather unlikely as there were no markings or anything to indicate a military connection

In 1939 the Austin 10 saloon was produced in a new model. This model had some other features like another engine and grill.

Wartime produced Austin 10 saloon should be like this. It was also produced after the war, but these chassisnumber begin with GRQ instead of the prewar (and war?) GSI.
