landyandy Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 make your self a sanding board i use an old mirror as its totaly flat stick a full size sheet of 180 or 200 grit wet and dry on as you will be doing a lot of sanding and fine fetling also handy if you have a scale drawing of said vehicle to work off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sand as described by RR. Good idea to fill the wheel halves with milliput or similar before joining together. But I would just use the curved bits like mudguards, bonnet, etc.. from the kit and scratch build the rest from plastic card.
