Rolf S. Ask
Anyone knowing what these filters are for? They are a bit big. Could it be filters for the Morris Recce Car? Rick W
Ive no idea on those filters, they look huge. As a side note for all you MCC owners, in case you havent seen it there is a 25 pounder limber for sale on Milweb, that would look the part behind your MV! 8-)

Rolf S. Ask
Mail sendt to mattilda.... Regarding those filters; Anyone agree that it must be for the compartment of a armoured vehicle? It is surley not for an engine.. Rolf
Rick W
I would say definitely armoured vehicle maybe even tank. Are there any markings or labels on them? How big are they? Did they come with the MCC bits? And finally......do you have a Paypal account Rolf?
Rolf S. Ask
Have not found any labels on them, but I did not look to hard last time. Will check them out better next week-end. They are ap. 50 cm high x 30 cm wide and 20 cm deep. And have no Paypal account I think :-). Did pay with Pay Pal earlier, but do not know if I can get payd on it... But will arrange with my bank for international payments. Then it will be just as easy as when you pay your electrical bill... Rolf
Richard Farrant
Have not found any labels on them, but I did not look to hard last time. Will check them out better next week-end. They are ap. 50 cm high x 30 cm wide and 20 cm deep. Rolf, I was also thinking armoured vehicle, but just realised what they are (at least, I think I know!). The Morris Commercial CS8 / C4 / C8 air compressor trucks had an Air Pump compressor with vertical filters like this, can't find a photo of one as yet though. I was involved, restoring one many years ago, and they do seem familiar. Richard
Rolf S. Ask
Thanks Richard!! I do not have any photos of a compressor showing the filters.. Rolf
Rolf S. Ask
Ever seen one like this before?? This is what I call NOS part :-D Oh.. the engine is in there.. I did not take a to close look but it seems as all interial parts are in place, missing the top, generator, starter. And also found out abouth those big filters. They are for the aircompressor mounted in the back. It is supposed to be two in a truck as far as I know. One in use and one stored betweene the seats. They go for 40 pound each. I have not got the parts home yet, but guess I will have the lists compleeted in a few days including prices. Rick W
Just get your list sorted Rolf! Thats 3 radiators you have there as well! Im gobsmacked....(Ancient British term meaning mildly surprised!) :-D
Rolf S. Ask
Forgot to check out numbers on those radiators. They are not for MCC, perhaps Morris Ten or Austin Ten. This is a radiator for my MCC since the one I have is rather bad... The second photo shows the same three as last, but you can also see yet another one. Anyone who can tell what they are made for?
