nz2 Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I have spoken with the current owner. Original history is unclear. It could have come to New Zealand after the war as an repatriated item. Due to the length of time in NZ and relevant history to fighting of WW1 there could be a restriction on it being exported through the Movable Cultural Heritage Act.
