Horse Transport
I was offered a pair of 1917 dated rear Dennis Wheels today one with location for a spocket or something, have small brass date tag (1917) solid rubber tyres etc ! By a chap here in Tonbridge Regards Nigel
nz2
Check the size of the wheel ( tyre) and that will tell as to the size ( weight )of the vehicle it was on. The holes for mounting a cog for chain drive you have referred to, could be the brake band attachment bolt holes. The 1917 date would make it shaft drive rather than chain drive. Any chance of a photo? Doug
