Mahindra cross Willys

thought i`d put this thread in the " i may be.............." bit

 

ive used the search wotsit but nothing came up to answer my questions, so here goes................

 

• if one bought a mahindra jeep, just how close will the body of, say a CJ2a fit onto the chassis & accept the running gear ? assuming Id keep the derv engine, box /4wd stuff & maybe altering the dash of the older body to accept RHD workings

baring in mind i feel the mahindra jeep looks to high, sim` to the CJ 3b. is it possible to just use the front end from the dash onwards of an earlier CJ to achieve the same effect ?

if its the short wheel base brave 340 yes a 2a body will fit there is mahindra on ebay at the moment attracting big cash as a willys add says its a willys but its not or rather the vin tag may be

thats proberbly why the price of these mahindra jeeps have gone up in price, as a few years back you couldnt give `em away
