Maxi118 Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 Hi unfortunately I have no military background just a longtime interest in military, agricultural and commercial vehicles started I guess when I was about six in the fifties when I used to watch convoys of Morris quads with a gun carriage? and I guess a 25 pounder. I once drove a quad that had been converted into a timber crane which was fun although I guess most of you would cringe at the modifications it had undergone. Early part of working life was spent on farms, mid part marketing ag machinery last part as facilities manager of a large aero engineering/fabrication factory in Shrewsbury(formerly the Sentinel works). Now retired having returned to HGV & combine driving post retirement (2004) until 2011. One narrow related interEst is in the wartime ROF Rotherwas factory in Hereford.
