Trans Pennine Run 2012 Sunday August 5th

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow, August 5th is the annual Trans Pennine run organised by the HCVS. All the vehicles will be corralled at Middleton, Manchester on Birch services M62 westbound at 7am tomorrow . The first vehicle will leave at 7.30am with all the vehicles (about 200) on their way by 9.30. The run passes through Littleborough, Rochdale, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Bradford Otley and Pool in Wharfedale before arriving at it's destination of Harrogate. It is usually on the Stray but this year it ends at a School on Oatlands Road. There is usually a dozen or so military vehicles on the run and I have entered Bernadette. If you live in the Manchester area it is worth getting to Birch to see them roll out first thing. This is predominantly classic commercial vehicles but if you like military vehicles you will probably like old trucks too.:cheesy:
