Cornishbloke
Just came in for a cup of tea whilst re-fitting the headlight on my Scorpion and saw this. Cheered me up! Interesting pattern of smoke dischargers - I've never seen these before. Nice to see first parades being carried out properly rather than just leap in and hope that it all works. Back out to the shed with a spring in my step! :cheesy:
robin craig
Man o man, where to start? Really nice camera work and editing. Hats off the the Belgian Tank museum for saving one of every flavour of CVRT variant, including the Halls greenhouse driver training version. That is a pile of work to get all those vehicles up to that standard, I presume they are vounteers and what a grand job they have done. Something for all of us to strive to achieve as a standard. Joris
I received the following email from William of the Tank Museum who has the following question: Hello, Thanks for posting it on the site! The complete detail will be present at Wings and Wheels in Ursel. BTW: our Striker misses one fundamental piece of equipment: it was possible to fire and direct the swingfire missile from a position away from the vehicle. We have the cable but not the firing post. Any chance to pass on this request? Thanks for your help, William If you can help please PM me, I'll pass it along!
timbo
Brilliant, just brilliant..! Nice to see at least one user who recognises the importance of these fab vehicles. As they gradually pass into history let's hope more people do....

Grasshopper
I think Andyroo on this Forum has a remote site that may be available for sale.
bill testaert
Hello, Thank you all for these nice reactions! Indeed, our volunteers do a great job! I am not very good at sending things so I passed some new footage to Joris were you can see more CVR(T)'s, this time in a more "logistic" fashion. Cavalry greetings, William
bill testaert
I think Andyroo on this Forum has a remote site that may be available for sale. Hello, I see you are attending a CVRT Striker. We are looking to complete ours and are searching for the remote firing device and mock missiles or bins for it. Any clue as where to look for it? Thanks for your time! bill testaert
[ Hello, When they came into service they had brit smokedischargers. Later we switched to german throwers compatible with our Leopard MBT fleet.
