At present i am using a small car battery, but it keeps going flat. The ammeter is reading 8+ amps when running. Now i assume this is the ammeter for battey charging? But i may be wrong. R Cubed Posted June 26, 2012 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Hi there, the ammeter by the start stop switch shows the current being put in to the battery. they recommend at least a 100 Amp / hour battery, also it will take a while to put back into the battery what you took out starting it.
