AC Oil Filter Dimensions - Bedford MW

Hi Guys,

 

Can someone advise me on the dimensions for the correct AC Oil Filter used in a Bedford MW. Also, the type reference would be good.

Hello Richard,

Sorry i've not replied to your email. If you contact john mortor he has modern equivalents of the zs filter. They use a screw on filter as the bottom half, a much better option than the old ones. i been told the look exactly like the originals,

I spoke to John and he has them in stock at £65.00 which seems very reasonable. There is an original on ebay at the moment, but think i will go for the modern lookalike.

 

Does anyone you know do the replacement pipes for it or is it just a question of making them up? Any idea of sizes, and are they steel or Copper....questions, questions......:-\

Hello richard,

The pipes on yours should be steel, early one were copper. Again this is something I've yet to tackle, but will be doing over the next few weeks, i think the olives and fittings are easy enough to get hold of. Let me know how you get on.

this is the oilfilter on my MW. Diameter = 8,90 cm ( 3,5 inch approx )

high = 20,5 cm ( 8 inch approx)
