Funny enough, the lorry driver who picked it up out the hedge asked if it was going to Sims scrap yard. He thought I was mad buying it to restore. I plan to make a good one out of this one and the other I have. The way iv been looking at it is keeping the cost as low down as I can which so far, I have spent about £3000 on both halftracks I have and 16 NOS boggie wheels coming next month.

I'm in awe of the skills of some of the people on this forum. Before i joined i would have thought the half track in the hedge was worthless scrap.

I agree. That "hedge track" is worthless scrap, until someone skilled and determined enough makes something worthwhile out of it!

It hurts to have to admit this...... but you are probably the only "sane" person on here....... thank goodness the rest of us "nutters" love to see something come back to life.
