ArtistsRifles
I have a pair of the signals issue bumperettes to fit to the landie, the ones that take the 8 or 2m Clarke/Racal masts. Problem is they are handed and asymmetric to boot and I am not sure which is the left and which is the right side one. Some pics at attached below - The full length side has two hole init as can be seen - do these face out away from the vehicle or inward towards the other bumperette?? I'l like to find out ASAP as I have to drill two holes in the new x-member to get them on and I would hate to get it wrong!! Thanks in advance!! Chubbster
Hi, I think these are the bumperets that where fitted to 90/110's. If my memory serves me well the bigger leg is closest to the NATO hock, because the 90/110 rear crossmember is tapered like the civi series crossmember. The large holes on the side of the bumperets (that should face each other when fitted) are for airlifting I think. Hope this helps Cheers Alex C
