Hair Bear
Hi, I've seen a small trailer, probably no more than 3' square on small balloon tyres being used with ATVs in the gulf and wondered if anyone has one or knows where I might aquire one. robin craig
look on Withams website, they had had plenty in past tenders. Also look at Caple ATV. R
robin craig
I'm mistaken, none on either site I suggested, sorry R
Hair Bear
No problem, really just testing the water at the moment to see if there are any in circulation. Thanks anyway. Rob.
david56
There were loads on the last Witham Tender I suggest that you ring them and ask you never Know. I don't think that they sell everything on the Tender Lists because often the same items appear again and these are quite specialised. Also I think I remember they are self loading. I will be going to Withams some time before Christmas if you can wait I could ask and maybe get some pics. David
Hair Bear
Thanks for the guidance. I've found some on 'milweb'(?). It's a Logic SMT120b apparently, two versions as well. Hmm... Now which is best for my use? (or, what excuse can I come up with to get one!).
LEGGY
Hello, I am also interested in one of these trailers. Does anyone have any definate sources, and any idea of price? Cheers, Leggy.
Hair Bear
They are (or were) on Milweb, but are still available new from Logic. Being nosey, what are you going to pair it with?
LEGGY
I have a 2003 Honda TRX 450, ex Royal Marines which I take to shows and use locally. For my display vehicles I like to have a trailer behind. My neighbour has one he may part with but he hasn't said a price. I just wondered if anyone knew of any for sale to compare in condition, price etc. I have been looking for some time now but they never seem to be about. I tried Withams but they said they didn't have any. Just to reiterate, does anyone know of any for sale or a ballpark figure for them? Hair Bear
That'll make a nice set. We've had vintage tractors and they always displayed better with a suitable piece of period equipment. I'm not familiar with the 450 (the newest Honda Atv in my shed is a 1986 250es), are the wheels/tyres interchangeable with the trailer ie one spare tyre fits all? LEGGY
Yes, I think so. The tyres on the trailer look the same size as the rear ones on the quad. I also have a Grey and Gold Ferguson 35, I usually display it with a link box with milk and cream churns in it. Did you buy an atv trailer after? Leggy. david56
I was in Withams yesterday, I have never seen the yard so full. They have sold all of these. BTW the guy said that the MOD are selling all their trucks and Land Rovers to be replaced by Leased stuff so over the next few years loads of stuff will come for sale and when it is all gone that will be it. LEGGY
Thanks for that. By the way, I now have two military quad trailers, both sourced locally.
