RattlesnakeBob Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 my thoughts the same!. ..man that M10 can shift!!..if you look at the Tiger 1 & 2 in the Youtube videos gently ambling about down at Bovington ...albeit that the guys were very probably taking them proper steady...its no wonder a Sherman/M10 could use speed to get out of trouble.......that M10 really moves! willy63 Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 hello roy i am willy,may be you don't remember me,i rescued you and teh sherman on a motorway in belgium some years ago. i am restoring an M10,on engine normally there is dry sump and an engine oil tank in the tank body for each engine. on the post of the man who is restoring achillies engine,we can see that sump are not the same as original and there is no oil tank in the body.There tube to fill engine oil go directly in the engine. on your engine i seen in you tube that it appear you have same model as mark . can you explain to me what you done on engine ,you do modification for engine lubrification ? did you done modification on sleeve and pistons? we can i find engine parts ? can you send me some interior's pictures of your achillies ? we have to rebuild all floor etc....and don't have model and not lot of pictures. best wishes willy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
