The APGP was not a modification of the LightWeight in fact it pre-dates it by many years & was the the first airportable Rover, not the LightWeight as is commonly believed. It was the first 1-Ton Rover (not 1-Tonne) & had the facility for running electrical operated power tools from the alternator.
