KMF
I am looking for information about my fathers service record. He served in the navy during ww2. As i get older i have become more interested in milatary history but unfortunately my father has become senile so too difficult to obtain information from him. Can anyone please inform me were information can be found relating to naval service men from ww2. many thanks
rdx10
You might get some information from the Public Records Office web site , www.nationalarchives.org , click on 'records' then ' looking for a person ' and theres a section for Royal Navy , you might also want to check out the MoD website www.mod.uk which has a section for veterans and how to obtain service records.
