Guest matt
Having just become the proud owner of a 1941 Johnson KS-15 ten HP outboard motor I am looking for any info on outboards used by the US military during WWII and the craft they were fitted to. I am also looking for a US assault boat, either wooden or alloy so I can mount said outboard on the correct type of boat . I did hear that a guy in Holland had built some reproduction plywood assault boats a few years ago, anybody know more about this?? Thanks! Matt. Karoshi
Hi Matt, I have an idea that the D-Day Museum in Southsea has an outboard featured, but in what role I'm not sure. Might be worth a call. It was known as the Seahorse 9.9 I do believe
