Hi all, we was, with my army club members on celebration 65th aniversaey operation Market-Garden in Arnhem and Oosterbeek, Holland. With Bedford, Jeep, two Matchless G3L as 4th Dorset, 43rd Wessex div. hepl for Paras. For better transport (for 1000km) I make change on my Bedford, all over body line go down, and think on the first wieu as "airborne" version! No,no its joke!:-D Tomas

Hi all, here is few pitures Bedford MWD from old black and white war movie "Nebeští jestci" (Riders in the sky) Czechoslovak production 1968, by novel history Czechoslovak RAF 311.bomber squadron and in this movie is as "actor" Bedford MWD, have repaired body and cab and doors is (think) fro pre-war Czech truck. I search more info but to this time donk know who was owner in 1968 year, and dont know history this MWD. regards Tomas

Hi to all HMVF members, tomorrow is in home British new/old wartime military lorry - Austin K6! Please search more pictures, info, contact with other owners this nice vehicles? Think Austin is in condition, good for restoration back to wartime. Austin is without body, its problem, like tin body, similar to Bedford QLT (?), maybe someone is owner K6 with this body and help me? or have detail pictures(?), dimensions(?) thanks for help! Tomas

Hi thanks, Im owner MWD and Vaux, this OX have my friend David, we think OX (early) was in desert service and was prison by German forces, by Italy, Osteraich finish war in Czech country, civil afrer war service to end of his life, before few years was for sale as wreck and David was happy owner, start restoration. Hi for all, write few info and pictures from may celbration end of war, every year from may 1990 in Pilsen town. Here finish his war time way 3rd Pattons army, Russian Red army,one milion German soldiers gruppe "Mitte" and Czechoslovak independent armoured brigade group with British and Canadian vehicles, weapons equipment etc. My re-enacment "token force" go on old way with jeeps, staff car Vauxhall, two Matchless, Bedford OX and Bedford MW. Hi Andy, I thank you! Im enthusiast for British war time vehicles long time, this Commer was after war here members vilage fire brigade re-build to "bus", I must make complet new body about perfet pictures and dimensions from second owner this Commer 30cwt in England. Think this Commer was on picture from new movie "as in Dunkerque 1940" (sorry I not remember name this movie) In side was orig. engine (licence Humber six cylinder engine), but this engine was on full leiht broken and have small cylinders- cca 2000cc(!) orig. must be over 4000cc. I change engine from Humber Super Snipe staff car, but this second engine is in not good condition and make me every time problems. regards Tomas

thank you Mark for answer, this British bus is on first wieu very similar to old Czech bus type from 50s years, "Beetle" is very intersting! But is very old picture,likely ended "life" in scrapyard, I have similar story with Guy Ant 4x2 15cwt early model, by UNNra program go to Czech fire brigade in 1946,(have picture) here still to 1990 and was re-built on bus(have piture) but here story finish, i dont know what hapent with this interesting truck. regards Tomas
