  1. thank you for praise! Oh, this is colour is British product, modern color, but its (by original)same hue dark green semi matte color

  3. oh, yes its true, Czechoslovak brigade was in Prague only two days 17 and 18.may 1945, becouse Prague was in the Russian ocupation zone, but Czechoslovak brigade was under command US Army (!), Russians dont want this very heavy armed brigade in own zone, only two days , with out munitions(!) not only for guns, but every soldier brigade was with out munition for pistols, rifles, MG(!). 18.may 1945 was in main town Prague great parade for Czechoslovak land army for west, many hours go all Cs. armoured brigade (all vehicles) across down town, oh, Russians generals dont like! Only few days after end of war! Higgins
  4. I live near Prague, main town Czech republic, Rudná village and have one picture Cromwell tank, from 18.may 1945,know this place and make second picture on this same place after 66years... Maybe like?
  5. only notes- i have long time info (unverified) about ex-German Panzer IV and others, in the few post war years was in service Czechoslovak army, together with Russian T-34 and Cromwells, first time Czech goverment supported Iserael armed forces, mainly Spitfire IX, Me-109 and hands weapons with munition. But Russian make late change, stop support for Iserael, and Czech goverment must susend support to Arabian countries Egypt and Syria. And for Syria was send supply with this Panzers IV. Maybe its true. Tomas
  6. thank you for information, and was know details? It was " civilian" chassis (?) or chassis from Standard Tilly? Engine was 10HP , 12HP, 14hP? More picrures? And I see on this pictures military cammo paint "Mickey-Mouse"?
  7. Hi, on net is very, very interesting picture his car with title "Standart car 1943, British Jeep" I never see before, its true? Or its mistake? Please let know more info about this car? Its re-build from Standard saloon or its new construction for army? thanks Tomas

And this pictures "Metro" American van- wrecks, think not good, becouse have few diferences and this Metro van is small, please see again on picture France red cross vehicles, behind this Chevy (?) van is Austin K2 Ambulance, and van is big. O.K. maybe in the next time.... again thanks Tomas

I have one nice wartime picture from desert, Bedford ML ambulance , but is under copyright, and one more picture is on http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/3329246/Hulton-Archive think is very interesting picture Bedford ML(?) november 1940, think abulance box is on front reduced, but with front inside door(!) and full Bedford cab with roof(!), Tomas

Hi, like wartime Bedfords, and see(only) in the book info about very rare model from 1940 year, 397 Bedfords ML54 ambulance. there to this time this Bedford Ambulance? there more pictures war or post -war service? or more details? Hi to all, under command Montys 21st Army group, 1944-45, was no.22 liaison HQ, search wartime pictures vehicles this British unit, all vehicles or bike or armour have serial number "120", white number on dark backing, on armour vehicles was write big inscription "BRITISH", on the front, for example is here picture Humber. thanks for help Tomas

HI Mike, sorry Im Tomas, not Radek,, I search about this "Army film unit" vehicle, this pictures with Ward laFrance is from Pilsen town ,main Republic square, 18.may 1945, after liberation by US Army, and in this time was in Pilsen many, many US Army vecles from 3rd US Army, 18.may back home Czechoslovak brigade from Dunkirk battlefield and on Pilsen main square was stirred American, Canadian and British vehicles, think this Ward was from US Army or from Canadian heavy transport unit, becouse transport all Czechoslovak Cromwell tanks from Dunkirk make Canadian heavy trucks with trailers. Thanks for help, i see on net few pictures vans with very similar body, but every time not 100%, few small differences, this Chevy is very similar! on net is pictures two ambulances with describing International Haverster D-15 Metro, and think this van is very different, and on both sides this van is write "Czechoslovak army film unit" with CIABG unit badge in centum. on the last pictures is same van , but ,think with hands made inscription.   21. Hi , search details informations about unknown van on picture? This van served for "Czechoslovak army film unit" , think from 1941 in England and late in Europe battlefield and this picture is from CIABG motorbattalion back home 18.may 1945 near Pilsen. But I dont know more, is British or American van ? Morris or Ford? In CIABG served two more vans as "Ambulance" very similar to the aye. Thanks for help Tomas
