I think the book is called "Son of the Red Centre", a fascinating tale.
Read it, and then remember it next time you curse the main dealer for having to wait until the next day for your truck parts delivery
Have you a number for this book :???

My apologies for forgetting you, so this question can be opened up to all the people in Europe who were affected by the war and after. I do not want to turn this into who was to blame etc, just as the question asks.
Thank you

........................part of a Clansmen or Larkspur and what is it worth please, it is brand new as well.

This is to you both and is a serious question for me.
What is it like to live in a country that has seen so much suffering and hardship throughout the second world war, and yet has so much history in the battlefields, small villages where battles were fought, all the monuments, graveyards etc where so many heroe's are, and so many people like us here on the forum are interested in what happened in those times.
Does this "past" impact on your everday lives or has the country moved on in these times, people obviously remember the past, but do they/you get affected by it.
It's an honest question and one that I hope you do not get offended by.
Thank you.

Mark, what is the significance of 122 72? Were you quoting to 8 decimal places?
The answer is 161mph or 260kph assuming the airspeed indicator is reading 140 knots on it's first time round.
Mike
I hope it was the first time around, other wise that is a damn fast C47 :-D

161.109 122 72 mile/hour (mph)

Contact the War and Peace office, they would probably put you in the Re-enactors field under Greg Cottee, i.e. where Rolling Thunder and the likes go.

The Stalwart is 103" (8' 7") that is overwidth for moveing on its own wheels. a vehicle such as a stalwart has to comply to a max width of a tad over 8' 4".
The Stalwart is 3 inches to wide to drive on the road, (without a movement order) .
Unless you register it as an agriculture vehicle :cool2:

The wiffy can speak French or my 13 year old :-D

All good ideas, but if it gets really coated in mud I assume you would jet wash it all off and then wipe over with WD40 or such like.
-
I have heard of people using WD40 for a sort of "shine"

If it the same date , from someone who up to now had defended Miliatary Oddessey, they can now go get........
The dates for next year are for the weekend before MO.
-
Book me in for the same spot. Can you clear the half eaten rabbits first next time. :-D
You ungrateful so and so, that was dinner :cool2:
-
We feel that to take on MO at this time would/could be suicide, this (2009) will be our second year so we tread lightly at first, we will see what happens as we too would like 3 days at some stage.
-
Agreed, the new dates have been posted and we do not clash with MO in fact we are a week before them, the Hop festival was not due to be on the same weekend as us they moved it but we still had about 2000 through the gate, also we are looking for more re-enactors this year without a doubt, so come on you boys we can did some trenches for you.
If you go down into the woods today!
