  1. Graham,

I think you are right, the taste is not like it was. I once had some Cadburys Dairy Milk when in Australia, found out that the factory there had been closed and it was then made in Singapore.........that never tasted like it did back home. I noticed on one of Cadburys choc bars, that was made in France as well. :(

hi richard, i think that milk tastes differant in other countrys and that will have a deciding factor, its just a shame as that was my favourite make of chocolate, another great british product down the drain :-(:-(:-(

  2. Don't know about that Graham, some 400 tons a month gets made just over my garden fence, smells OK too!

hi bernie, is that cadburrys, as the radio 2 programme i was listening to said they were closing the last factory in england

  3. evening all,

i have just opened a tin of Roses and tucked in to enjoy the lovely taste of that certain brand, but after a few of the all milk chocolate ones i found the taste not to be what it used to be and rather bland, i then remembered that they have stopped making chocolate in this country and transferred production to Poland.

I know when i was in india i brought a bar and that was a totaly differant taste,

has anyone else found the taste wanting, and not how they remember it ?, or is it just me ?

    regards

  4. hi all, most agricultural dealers stock smaller car and quad bike batterys as well and they are all 2 to 3 yr warranty, most dealers will also stock CTEK battery chargers, i have just brought a multi XS 7000 and just reconditioned 3 batterys that would not hold a charge so it has paid for itself already, the batterys are all over 4yrs old and are now starting on cold mornings like new :)

Sorry, but someone would moan if they didn't get a card - I think it's a nice gesture.:n00b:

  9. Graham, do you throw all your Christmas cards in the bin when you get them? :(

    richard,

no i dont throw all my christmas cards in the bin, but i felt it was too big and the picture was not very good........and as you know everything indoors comes under the command of the wife :shake:, and i cannot repeat on here what she said about it. :)

  10. got home tonight and in the post was the application form for next years W&P show, along with it was a bloody big christmas card from rex cadman and friends, what a waste of money, all the money that cost to produce i would rather had a free bog roll on entry next year (if i go)

dunno about anyone else but mines now in the bin

  11. Will there be any moles to catch when it dries out? Do they have a trick, apart from sitting on top of their molehills?

    Bernard,

moles have 2 sets of tunnels, the surface tunnels that link the molehills and somewhere in that tunnel system useally on a rise or near a hedge they will have a vertical shaft up to 4 foot deep where they have another set of tunnels, this is where they have their nest and it is also where they go when its wet, cold or very dry, they just follow the worms, as they have to eat twice their own body weight in worms every day :-D

    regards
