Great write up Bernie, far bettert job than I could have done, have to agree that the museum in Dikirch was awesome, possibly the best ever up to date, so much gear and well looked after. So you going next year? We went from Hull overnight sailing to Zebrugge, its only a 3 hour drive to Bastogne from there so we had it cushy by the sound of it. We also" witnessed "a little incident on the way back, involving a trailer and an unsuspecting VW ,whos bumper was(!) minding its own business in the services!!!  Hope your daughter recovers, why do they always do it at holiday time?
  2. I have trouble deciding which keys to press normally but if I'm under pressure anything can happen. Bernies your man for a report Jack, I'm sure she will do a far superior job. (Obviously she isn't a real man though) To sum up the trip, We went, we saw, we had fun. But you two obviously want more than that don't you.

  9. You supply them with about 12 photos and the valuation you think and they have someone look at it at their end to make sure. I know the system works as they took my valuation as gospel when I rolled it and they had it to repair!!

  12. Hi DD I bought a pair of the £50 pattern ones 18 months ago from a German dealer, they are great, a bit glaring to start with but once they are dubbined and polished down they look good and feel super on, and are more waterproof than my corcorans that a few years ago were 3 times the cost. They also look good with the tops chopped off! I wouldn't hesitate in investing in another pair
  13. Its well worth a trip to Wetherby on the first wednesday of the month, we have a meeting at the Sports Centre from about 7.30, very informal but well organised if that makes sense. There is a good calendar of events , I'll post some on here when we get our list next month.

  17. Fuji F401 its fantastic, compact ,good battery life, optical and digi zoom, does video and all manner of other things. Down side is that for some reason Fuji decided not to make it beer proof, seems to be gumming up the on/off switch Had it over 2 years now so if its not repairable I will get the new model to this without a doubt.
