  3. Yes we had a flash in one of the pig buildings once. The building hadn't been washed for a long time as it hadn't been used so once we put some stock in there they stirred up all the fine dust particles at the same as the gas clicked on and ignited.............this flash went across the room in miliseconds but nothing was burnt :schocked:

  15. Ladies and gentlemen. I would like to draw your attention to an amazing piece a work that has been written by our very own Stephen A. Carr aka - Jesse the Jeep! This is what HMVF was started for - to share information and for me, this sort of work makes it all worth while. I defy anyone who can turn around after reading this and say "well, I knew all that anyway". Once you had read this then make sure you thank Steve for all the time and effort he has put into this. Wonderful work Steve, you should be very proud with yourself. Best wishes and, thank you Steve. Jack.

  21. I know I have excelled myself in news section today :schocked: but going forward, I intend to update it at 5 times a week :-D
  22. Funny enough yes but no. Have been looking for a while for my next project. I really like MV's with a theme, wrecker, tanker, ambulance etc etc but haven't found what I want. I want something different so I thought I would take a leaf out of Micks book and build my own. I don't ever think you will ever come across a GMC Command Post Vehicle so I think I would like to build one - mechanically we all know I am on a learning curve with that one but on a construction side I am more than happy! So by doing this I can tick many boxes, have another MV, something that is different and something that needs to built for the reference of a historical model. I like what Mick done with his project. I would also like an early closed cab GMC as well so that is another box that is ticked. So I am going to start the research on the project to see how much info I can actually get to see if I can get enough information to make it a pretty accurate representation otherwise I won't go a head with it as it would mean nothing in a historical sense. Best wishes. Jack.
