Come on Neil there is a limit to how much you should be loving your stolly, especially in public.

Hi Cris, Spoke to a friend and he suggested this site http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/erol/erol.html
scan down the page and there are 2 types listed on there in metal.
-
that sounds cool
where can i examin one of these rare beasts...
Would be best to do a search of airsoft company's in your area and give them a ring to see if they stock them that way your can handle one before you look for the cheapest supplier.

Hi Cris, Airsoft do a new "Metal" electric SA80 which I have been told looks and weights about the same as the real thing and its around £400 I think, havent held one myself but a friend runs an airsoft site and said they do look very good and alot cheaper than the real thing.
Might be worth a look.

Paul Clarke in MMVG owns one, knows most components intimately :-D
May be along here in the next day or so.
Nice picture of Paul's TM from the Bunker Show and the crane comes in handy when off loading the club container full of kit, if only I had an LGV licence.

Here is one from my archives, taken at one of the MVT end of season meets, Bovvy 87, held jointly with the All Wheel Drive Club. This is a section on their Heavy Vehicle Trial, how mnay RL owners on here, would take theirs on something like this?
RL owner here and no sorry not that brave with my RL, my ar_e would be biting chunks out of the seat. :shake: That looks like some climb and looks like the drive is very close to the side.
-
I see you caught my best side!!
Has he tacked it on yet?
Not sure if Lee has seen Neil yet but I am sure if he hasen't we will see him at the fort Sunday.

Come on Simon where are the pictures.
-
Looks in reasonable condition for a Mk1 Ian
Is it a swimmer?
No sorry John its not a swimmer so you won't be able to buy it and beat Neil to the water

The extent some MV owners will go to just to remove a Stolly spotlight for Neil. It took Simon Stolly, Grumpy and a Militant Mk3 recovery to lift the stolly cab and lower it to the ground so the light could be removed in safety.
I think the whole thing was an excuse just so Scott could show of his crane skill's.

Well with nothing better to do with my time I took a drive to the boat yard and got some pics of the stolly. I spoke to a guy there not the owner and he said it was up for sale at £5500, they have only had it around 4 weeks and decided its now not what they wanted. The good news is its fitted with a cummins diesel and runs, drives and stops but I have now noticed from the pics that it has no number plates on it so I dont know if its road registered.

Great pictures of the trench - that is something unique isn't it?
I can't say I have ever seen anything like it before even at war and peace show so hats of to the WW1 guys for such a fantastic display.
They are very keen to extend the trench and do even more ready for next years show.
