Time and patience and parts will appear eventually

Not good for the health that one you can just imagine the drivers heart flipping when he saw the truck coming directly at them
-
How about posting up the pictures so that we can see the differences between early and late 58 pattern webbing.
-
That's remarkably similar to this animated avatar one I found somewhere:

Mesmerising :wow:
Not difficult to realize what my avatar is

Hi All,
The West Lancs start up show has been cancelled due to the excellent recent weather. The Ducks have been paddling in the field and practising their backstroke... Bummer!!
-
I have a feeling that Barry might have enough Ferrets which is great for those who will be taking part. Try emailing Barry directly
-
I have posted the info above on the Facebook Daimler Ferret Armoured Scout car Appreciation Society page.

Ferret Heaven on Yahoo. Chris (shirc) should be able to post the info for you

Should really do something at War and Peace this year in regards to a Ferret get together. Sorry slight hijack of you're thread!!
Hope you find some decent looking Ferrets. In regards to asking Ferret owners to appear I take it that you might be able to provide something towards the fuel costs?

Didn't the Chinese buy a Soviet Aircraft carrier supposedly for scrap and then decide to rebuild it for the Navy?
-
Its that time of year again for the West Lancs MVT to hold its annual start of season get together at the Scotch Piper in Lydiate. I am booked in don't let that put you off though! :-D

Regimental association's might be worth a try.

You won't find them as Ferret items. The ebay seller below has the master cylinders and servos NOS.
As everyone else has said it would be worth replacing the rubber and steel brake pipes.
-
I just found the brake cylinder and master cylinder rebuild kit numbers for NAPA, I will check the brake cylinders in the morning.
Would you post up the part numbers so that other owners in the US can find them.
-
If you remove each wheel cylinder from the backplate and have an assistant press the brake pedal you should be able to see if the wheel cylinder is working or seized. You do not need to remove the flexible pipe but be aware that if it opens it might not be able to be returned to the closed position.
Most of the parts can be bought from you're local NAPA store (seals and such) not entire brake cylinders mind.

I would go with Marcus Glenn as well nice people and always very helpful. Banisters has also been very good as well

I did see on another thread someone doing an adapter for the oil filter, so you can use the standard disposable ones. But I cant remember the thread, sorry. You can get new old stock filters in the UK from Banisters. If that's any help:-|.
Ian Wallace was doing an adaptor for the oil filter housing allowing a spin oil filter to be fitted http://www.ferret-afv.org/ Email him via the site.

A photograph album compiled by Captain John Moreton is to go under the hammer on April 25th at Charles Miller Auctions in London. The album comprises pictures of the early stage of submarine development and the pictures of HMS Dreadnought with HMS Victory still afloat in the background.

If you had said paint brush you might have had a chance the decorating has moved rooms!
It will be a goer I'm sure what you need is a crate a week of energy drinks for Bob and co! Only kidding Bob. I suspect that you will be living in Bobs yard the week before Beltring or whenever its scheduled to go down. Better start buying Jerry cans of fuel for it. What is the condition of the petrol tanks will you need extra filters to collect any sediment from the tanks?
