Nice!
I'd love to have a halftrack but the Lottery doesn't seem to let me win.

Not sure what was more painful, the cutting up of the Priests or the music. :-D

Iam amazed at the speed of this restoration.

Looks like Jim C's tank, he's on this forum.

Dutch army uniforms in the late 70-80's were simple.
Cotton and looks a bit like the US M43. (M 78)
Trousers, with standard cargopockets
-Jacket, looks like a M43
-Combat shirt, cotton with 2 pockets and Dutch flag.
-Boots, brown leather.
-Helmet, basically a US M1-clone (M53)
-Gear, combination of US and UK inspired items
-Beret with emblem.
-Cotton cap.
(The trousers and combat shirt were also made in a Herringbone Twill pattern (M58), in the early seventies, combined with boots that are allmost identical to WW2 paraboots)
Uniform without jacket, but with the combat shirt;

Outer jacket ;

Offcourse there are variations, steel helmets for instance about 5 types with tiny differences), liner in WW2 style and made in plastic).
webbing in fabric and plastic. 3 types of combat boots, WW2 style in smooth and pebbled leather and later smooth leather with out toecap and deep frofile soles).
So as with everything you have earlier and later versions of the same items.
All these items are readily available and mostly cheap in the Netherlands.

Never been on a steam train, sounds like fun.

I removed the cracked and almost melting outer part of the soles so I could still use them on hot days at last W&P...
With the bad weather I didn't use them much though.

Welcome, are you of Dutch descent?

1/2 ton CC's aren't very common on this side of the ocean.

I'm surprised it didn't fall off or at least break a track.
Still, I wouldn't want to do that.

Its coming along nicely.
Good luck and have fun.

Yep, had it happen to me too.
In the heat they also seemed to melt, strange when considering they were designed for hot weather...
-
Its obvious a lot of progress is being made.
Well done and good luck.

Great comparison photo's.

What a coincidence...
I just bought a 1942 Brit water carrier yesterday.

Amazing how many manufacturers of MV's there are/were and how the more or less design the same vehicle even thoug they may be quite different.
-
Offcourse the Ww2 planes are cool.
But I like the Mig 15 in the photo's, never seen one in the flesh.

I tried to watch the video of the Civil war 3 inch gun but it doesn't work, it only buffers to 38% and then doesn't play.
