    as long as its built before 1960 you can drive it on an ordinary car license,the other way is if its classed as agricultural,i think but dont quote me on the latter,mine was built 1953 so no problems there

    possibly the sender is stuck,mine was ,or the end of the spindle has come away and not turning the rotor arm at the top.
