  7. hi all, we always drive with at least 2 vehicles because if one breaksdown help is at hand even if its just to tow to a safe place to try and sort it out.many hands make light work or at least 20 to push a dead saracen!!!! as for range trying to not completely knackering yourself through driving is always an advantage but if its weekend rather than a day i'll go a little further. the drivings the best bit!!!!

  19. Hi all, glad to see its not just me! Another thing is whenever a few of us get together we usually end up talking about each others vehicles, shows and drink even more tea,oh and the price of fuel!!!! But what ever you talk about the work always goes out the window, but at least its fun!!
  20. Hi all, went down to do some work on my saracen today.nothing unusual except no kids with me and no" be back at so and so time" from the missus.so how come i drank tea and gossiped for most of the day like an old woman, instead of getting on with loads that have to be done? is it just me or is this part and parcel of owning military vehicles? :?
  21. hi, i've got one for a 24volt one if thats any help?
  22. Hi all, the images are really interesting,i found my saracen where i first stored it and could see loads of aircraft at Mildenhall and other bases.but as was said the images are a few years out of date, but fun anyway
  23. hi Neil, as safariswing wrote the gates at coalhouse are a bit tight for a saracen as its mine thats there, but it could be the height that could be a problem.if you could give me some measurements i could check!
  24. Hi all, when i take the saracen out i usually wear lightweights,DMS high legs and a 68pattern smock because their quite comfy. If its to a bigger show usually its 68 pattern combats ,DMS ankle boots and puttees and badged RCT.I feel this compliments the overall picture of the vehicle for the period it was in service and adds to the effect if worn correctly.
