Evening, normally by now there is a thread running with daily photo`s and an update on how the show is setting up etc,so was wondering if there is anybody on site who would like to do it.We are going down on Saturday for the week but don`t have the technology to do that.

As far as I know - yes. All was fine till the run home from Middle Wallop. Started blowing coming through the Dartford Tunnel. That trip was the journey from hell there and back and this was the icing on the cake.
How did you check it was flat?

AFAIK no export permit is required as legally it is no longer a firearm. I would however double check this with HMRC first and also check what carriers will take such an item as I have a suspicion Royal Mail / Parcelforce won't.

If CVR(W) http://hmvf.co.uk/pdf/FoxChargingSystem.pdfhi guysi have a problem with a friends fox which is not charging and has no electrics other than ign and starter. my initial thoughts were a problem with a black box somewhere ie voltage regulator or such. so my question is does anyone have a wiring diagram or any advice as to what it could be.cheersrick -

The good news is the DVLA have appointed someone who actually knows about military vehicles to manage the licensing of newly registered ex military vehicles, just after lunch I met him today and it was clear he knows what he is talking about.Why make a statement that an official in a Government Department has been appointed to deal with certain vehicles & then refuse to name him? what's the big secret? Maybe we should just make an FOI request to get his name

(and when composing messages, why does this site have an American spell check? if I spell neighbour correctly, it puts a red line under it but if I drop the 'u', it's happy).
HMVF does not have a built in spell checker... It is probably your browser that is checking the spelling..
