  1. Hanno is on this forum so may be along to answer your questions..

    From MLU Forum.. from 2012

    All,

The main cause is lack of time :giveup

    • If self-registration is enabled, the forum administrator gets swamped with spammers who have scripts running to register on forums across the internet. So we need a SW upgrade to be able to identify spammers, but for this we need to select a new SW package first as the current one is going nowhere. This takes time.
    • So for the meantime we have to revert to manually entering new users. This takes a lot of time.
    • In the meantime I am looking for a new forum hosting provider, which again takes time.
    • Then we need to migrate the database to the new SW. This takes time.

In short (and I have asked before): if there are any (prospective) members with the required IT skills to solve these problems, please step forward!

    Regards,

    Hanno

Due to the high number of spammers registering on this forum I have temporarily prevented anyone new from registering. Anyone attempting to register will be told that we are not accepting new registrations at this time.

If you have legitimate reasons to want to register, please check our full membership requirements here. If you agree to the terms, please us the "contact us" button at the bottom of each page.

    Thanks for your understanding!

Like I said, the current registration process is labour intensive, there are only two moderators who can put members in the database and we lack time. So for now it just a matter of queuing up and wait patiently - sorry people :o

It's not difficult to manually weed of spammers, I approve all the members on here & weed out about 10-20 spammers a day, doesn't take a lot of time, I've managed to keep the forum spam free for years.

  2. OK. A bit of a scorchio day due tomorrow then so I guess I will leave the wellies at home.

Wellies for the weekend needed I think.

After a week of scorching temperatures, parts of Britain look likely to have to put summer on hold as torrential rain sweeps in.

A severe weather warning has been issued for much of the country on Saturday, with the Met Office predicting heavy, thundery showers, frequent lightning and hail may develop everywhere except Scotland, Northern Ireland and the west of Wales.

It said "significant flooding" is possible from surface water and smaller rivers.

  3. I have a very powerfull extractor connected to the cabinet with a 30micron filter.. No dust settling in my workshop..

Not sure what your point is about the 24cfm? That is just the amount of air the compressor is capable of delivering at a constant rate..

  4. If fake it is the best fake I have ever seen! Those aerobatic planes have a body that is a lifting surface so they can fly continuously on their sides at air shows, rather than the quick flick of a barrel roll that is paused at each 90 degrees. IF it was real then he would have to approach the ground at a very high angle of attack so as to get as much propeller lift as possible, all but touch the ground with the tail and lower wing (If still there!) then a quick flip with the remaining airleron to drop onto the undercarriage which is exactly what you see in the clip. I have no idea if it is a real piece of flm but the manuoever is theoretically possible.

(sorry about spelling, cant get spellcheck to work!)
